And it all came with a big bang, bang! Unfortunately the worst case set in. Right at the beginning of the race somebody kicked me and I got a black eye. One-eyed I carried on but got into a jam and lost time. Finally I found myself at the end of the group.

(...)Tyrolean Vice-champion at the International Innsbruck Triathlon
The competition was very hard as expected. I did a good job and got the 4th place in the overall ranking and Tyrolean Vice-champion behind a sovereign Dominik Berger, an obstinate Tyrolean Champion named Albuin Schwarz and a very strong runner named Gerald Horvath.
